You might try to ignore it, protect yourself, hide somewhere maybe but NO — it always catches up to you. These encounters are like meteorites crashing through the atmosphere, fiery and unpredictable. They defy the laws of nature, for when that depth is present, it cannot be denied.
It hunts us down, breaking through our defenses, and exposing us to the warmth of connection.
Again, If it’s not meant to be, no amount of bargaining with your heart will anchor it. And mind you this is not only a romantic thing; it can be any meaningful connection in your life.
There is no shame in being hungry for another person. It’s a beautiful vulnerability that lets you be yourself. With the right person, you don’t have to hide. They see you clearly, and you are chosen. Because love is not a mere emotion. love is a choice, It’s not a consistent feeling but a constant choice—love ebbs and flows, just like happiness and sadness. Being in love isn’t a static state; it’s a daily choice. You choose to love, and it’s only successful when they choose to love you back with the same intensity.
